Wildlife under the Pier
Swanage Pier have immense pleasure in announcing a series of five talks about the wildlife, geology, and coastal history around the Purbeck Coast.
Swanage Pier creates a unique set of conditions which allow a huge diversity of wildlife to live underneath it. Pier volunteer and local diver, Nick Reed, will take us on a journey through this unseen world and will give us the background to some of the amazing creatures that featured in the successful online exhibition of underwater images by Alison and Paul Pettit.
Lasting approximately 40 minutes and there will be the facility to ask questions.
Talks will be done via an online platform, of which details will be sent a week before the event.
